Guided freediving training
Suitable for free divers who want to improve a particular skill or reach a new depth with the guidance and instruction of a certified free diving instructor. The instructor will help the trainee build an appropriate training program and accompany him throughout the dive to identify and correct mistakes. The instructor will also serve as a safety diver, so that the diver can concentrate entirely on training.
The day is divided into two parts:
Class lesson:
We will use lectures, videos, and breathing techniques to help the diver arrive ready in the water.
Water lesson:
Enjoy a ratio of 2-3 divers per instructor, which allows for personal attention and precise instructions for improving diving techniques.
The guide will accompany the diver throughout the entire stay underwater, regardless of depth, which enhances the sense of security and safety.
Upon completion of the Freediver course, you will receive an international certification certificate and a personal email with internet access to all the material learned in the course to retain your knowledge. From the moment you receive the certificate, you are part of the freediving community, able to dive and train at any freediving school around the world.
Training structure :
Full Guided Training
Lasts about half a day and is divided into 2 parts, dry practice + warm-up and water session.
Warm-up:
The dry practice will take place at the "Israel Freediving Club", where the instructor will work with the diver on the topics that the diver wants to strengthen and improve: pressure equalization, breathing, rescue and safety refresher, relaxation, and more. In addition, the instructor will conduct a warm-up that includes stretching and pranayama exercises in order to arrive ready and warmed up in the water.
Water session:
Enjoy a ratio of 1-4 divers to the instructor, which allows for personal attention and precise instructions for improving diving techniques.
The instructor will accompany the diver throughout the entire stay underwater regardless of depth, which enhances the sense of security and safety, and will emphasize preservation and improvement in order to progress.
Session Photography:
In addition, the instructor will record the dives using a gopro8 and the divers will receive the videos at the end of the day to learn a little more about their technique.

Close accompaniment by an instructor throughout the entire water session
In "guided water" training, we "skip" the warm-up and dry practice before entering the water, and the divers join the water session only.

Group training - every Friday
On Fridays, a special group training session is held led by Adam Hale / Ariel Kedmi - founders of the Israel Freediving Club.
*The training is scheduled and any certified diver who feels comfortable escorting another diver is welcome to attend.
During the training, Adam and Ariel move between the buoys, accompany the dives and provide feedback and highlights for improvement and maintenance.
This training is actually a combination of a "fun session" and "guided water training" - which allows you to increase your confidence in being an independent free diver and along the way also learn, become more skilled and improve thanks to the professional guidance in the water.
There is an option to start the training with a warm-up and dry preparation session for the water session that includes:
Breathing exercises, pressure equalization practice, special stretches for free divers and general refreshment.
Cost of guided group training:
100 NIS for a diver with full personal equipment
150 NIS for a diver who needs equipment
Cost of guided group training that includes a warm-up and preparation session:
